HOW TO FILE A MOTION FOR JOINDER

Open a browser and enter the LagosCoMiS website @ https://lagoscomis.lagosjudiciary.gov.ng
Enter the valid ‘Legal Email Address’’ and ‘Password’. Click ‘Sign in’
On your Dashboard, click on ‘New Filings’ on the top right corner of your page.
Click Existing Suit
Click Motion for Joinder
Select counsel user is filing as, type in suit number and click search. Details of parties will display.
Upload documents
Click finish
Assessors will review the assessment and approve for payment
Counsel or litigant is prompted to make payment
Once payment is made, Assessor stamps processes and commissions the case
Counsel is expected to print the stamped processes and submit in court
Magistrate will access the case electronically
NOTE: Motion for joinder can be filed by a claimant or defendant counsel who wants to join the case
