WHAT IS LAGOS CoMiS?

Lagos CoMiS (also called Paperless Courts) is a project that automates the existing manual filing systems within the Courts, which includes filing of cases to the execution of court decisions. It is simply an electronic Court Management Information System a.k.a LagosCoMis for the entire court processes. A lawyer can file online, registry staff approves for payment, the lawyer pays online, registry staff assigns suit number, push to the deputy Sherriff for upload of Affidavit of Service, Sends to Chief Judge and Chief Judge assigns to a particular court. The Judges and the registrars of court set date, upload records of proceedings, etc until the matter gets to the stage of judgement.
